Gizmodo: Carbon Fiber Asus V6V

4121_large.jpgThere’s a rule in the tech industry—making something out of carbon
fiber makes it cooler. I don’t care if it’s a toilet plunger or a car
hood, carbon fiber just sounds more interesting than “shiny plastic.”
Therefore, we aren’t surprised to see that Asus is giving it a go in
the carbon fiber notebook niche.

A few other folks have gone this route, but Asus seems to have hit a
sweet spot. The V6V isn’t too ostentatious. It’s got a nice Pentium
M-based chipset, and it’s acceptably light—a 15” screen at 5.5
pounds—to warrant the carbon fiber.

Gizmodo: iCarrier iPod Tower

icarrier.jpg

The iPod is a very special thing. It deserves a massive set of speakers
with sub-woofer and remote and you shouldn’t, quite obviously just hook
your iPod up to your stereo receiver and maybe get one of those less
expansive iPod remote control things. Therefore, we will say very
little about the iCarrier and let you all just bask in its phallic
glory.

Sweet Female Attitude - Flowers

I love lyrics. They are poems made with musical tones. Most specially, they express what I feel inside. Like for example this one below. If I could just bring flowers to a guy, it would be under a falling rain. Saying sorry so this way is dramatic but it may mean a lot to him… maybe.

Woah baby
Always be
Did I say
Woah baby
Oh, I’ll bring you flowers
Woah baby
Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, I, I, ah, ah

I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring rain
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away

Woah, baby
Always be
Did I say
Woah baby

From this day until the day we throw it all away
Lets talk about it ’cause I ca’t do without it Your love. it means so much to me
Can’t you see, right here I’ll always be

Oh, by the way, did I say I am here to stay
Right here beside you

I will never deny you my love
You’re everything to me
Can’t you see I will give it to you unselfishly
Because I need you so

Woah baby

I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring rain
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away

Woah baby
Always be
And if one day you went away
I’d feel so lonely inside
I can’t deny that I would break down and cry
And all those flowers they would wilt in the rain
And it would cause me misery and pain
Because I need you so

Woah baby

I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring rain
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away

Woah, baby

Always be
Did I say
Woah baby
Oh, I’ll bring you flowers Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, I, I, ah, ah Oh sh** man I bring you flowers

I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring rain
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day

In the bright sunshine
Me se bo selecta
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away

Woah, baby
Always be
Did I say

I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring rain
Did you know living without you is driving me insane
I’ll bring you flowers, I’ll make your day
The tears you cry, I’ll dry them all away

Everything in chaos… (The outcome of boredom part 1)

Windowscollage03

I always work with chaos because from that, it breeds order and beauty.

My screen often looks like this (if some applications are minimized) when I do my favorite thingies on PC. I love the all-blue theme as it is and I thank the heavens that its default wasn’t pink.

I could only work with alternative music. It doesn’t make so much noise.

It’s obvious that I’m working on Win Prof XP of Microsucks. As you can see, but you may not know it, that some of the programs were illegal copy. I got them for like 100 bucks per CD or less. But the downside is that they couldn’t get the privileges of the real McCoy. Also, some tabs are not working, there are also runtime errors and stuffs that can make you scratch your head in frustration, grumble or worse, the greater chance of throwing your PC when your work hasn’t been saved and then it cracks.

I continually exploit & take full advantage of the CPU usage to the point that it gets reformatted from time to time. Not only me, but added with my brother’s gaming habits and our pursuit of being obsessed with mp3s are taking most of the disk space. Or maybe we want it to crash so I could there would be a new one.

Files and folders are also in disarray. A downloaded file gets easily dislocated from one folder to another aside from the downloader’s fault. Well, I am not to blame –partly, because I wasn’t the one who partitioned the HD like hell.

But what I like about my PC is that it contains certain files that came from our past comps through HD to HD or any mode of transfer. So those files from our 286 laptop were transferred to the 486 PC, which was our last comp (I still missed it because it was the first time where I played StarCraft) then voila! They were all here and that makes it still memorable.

Which draws me to a question: if people are comp-frustrated, why do they hit the monitor when it’s supposed to be the CPU?

My Classic Star Wars Test

I don’t know what i did but…

Sherry, you’re Chewbacca

No disrespect to your hair stylist, but you have more in common with Chewbacca the loyal Wookie than you might think. Like "Chewey," you are a powerful force to be reckoned with. Whether you are playing pick-up sports with friends or interviewing for a job, your competitive nature is virtually unbeatable (and more than a little intimidating). But you have a definite gentle side too — a part of you that is more bark than bite and even longs for a cuddle or two.

When it comes to friends, it’s quality not quantity. And you’re usually the first one on the scene when someone needs a little rescuing (emotional or otherwise). You have a simple sense of right and wrong, and when someone crosses the line, you let them know. You’re the ideal righthand man/woman — strong, stable, and ultimately incorruptible.

Romantic Pattern

Sherry, your romantic pattern is Mentor and the Protégé!

The Mentor and the Protégé is a romantic pattern that’s about more than love for love’s sake. In it, love grows out of deeper need to learn and understand other aspects of your life through the teachings of someone else.

But, here’s the recurring pattern you may see in your relationships: Love isn’t the only thing you’re after.

You want power, success, attention, maybe even fame. You want to be recognized, doted on, and adored for your talents. And the object of your desire is the person best suited to provide you with these things — a boss, a mentor, a teacher, or a troubled genius.

Similarly, the object of your affection can take the place of an absent parent or role model, providing security and nurturance. Whatever the reason, you’re likely to feel a boost to your self-image when you’re with this person.

Just as this romantic pattern overpowers you, you might wish to be overpowered by someone stronger, wiser, and more accomplished than yourself. Your romantic pattern starts out innocently enough. Did you recently take a job working for an amazing boss? Has a teacher or mentor taken a special interest in your work? Maybe a long-time family friend stopped by for a visit, and revealed a fascinating side you’ve never seen before. The attention this person gives you is just what you’re craving. From there, it’s not a huge leap to falling in love.

In "My Fair Lady" a bet to train a poor woman in the ways of high society blossoms into romance. An older gent tumbles head over heels for a much younger woman in "Gigi." When secretary Tess McGill (played by Melanie Griffith) finds out her boss has stolen her idea in the movie "Working Girl," she gets revenge not only by taking her boss’s place but stealing her beau. Bridget Jones has an affair with her boss, and in "The Graduate" Benjamin Braddock is sleeping with the wife of his father’s boss. Sometimes these affairs work out; sometimes they don’t. But the familiarity of this classic pattern itself is what brings them to life. You undoubtedly have seen yourself in some of these entertainments.

But this is just scratching the surface of what we uncovered about the romantic pattern that drives your relationships.

While you were taking this test, we analyzed your responses to different types of questions, questions that get at the underlying factors of your relationship patterns.

These questions measure aspects of your formative experiences, your self-esteem, and your subconscious reactions to romantic scenarios — the dimensions that direct your behavior and choice of partners.

This allows us to look at the source of your romantic pattern — how and when this pattern became attractive to you — and allows us to make specific suggestions that will help you make better choices, and find true happiness in love.

My Chakra Test

Sherry, your most positive energy is flowing from your Sixth Chakra

This chakra is located in the center of your forehead and is often called the third eye. The sixth chakra represents your ability to see and really know truth. In your case, this chakra appears to be clear and unblocked so that positive energy can flow from it freely. Radiating positive energy from your sixth chakra indicates that you’ve cultivated higher wisdom concerning the important life lessons associated with this energy center. You’re apt to be accepting of the people and events in your life rather than pass judgment on them. You’re also likely to have developed a higher level of intuition than most people have.

Whether they’re allowing positive energy to flow or preventing it from doing so, all seven of your body’s chakras contribute to how you are feeling on a day-to-day basis. When they’re balanced, you feel energized and at the top of your game. When they’re unbalanced, you may feel tired or ‘off’.

While we have focused on identifying the one chakra that allows your positive energy to flow most freely, we have also discovered the ways your other six chakras are handling the passage of energy.

My IQ

Congratulations, Sherry!
Your IQ score is
118

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that’s just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Are you earning what you deserve?

Sherry, the right jobs for you would allow you to be

Creative and Analytical
You’re a visionary in many people’s eyes — able to think outside of the box to come up with your own solutions. You’re creative not necessarily in the artistic sense, but because you can expand your mind to do things differently from others.

It might take a while for colleagues to recognize and reward for your entrepreneurial spirit and abilities. That could be because they envy you, or because they find your ideas slightly rebellious — willing to go against the current.

All in all, you make it hard for people to pigeon hole you. That is why you, more than others, need a job that allows you to play to your strengths, break out of the mold, and truly excel.
