Oooooooh…. Hallelu—hallelujah!

Holy wacka molly, holy cow and
holy…

I’m chanting. And I’m not ashamed
to look in the mirror, Bamboo!

Sh*t. Man, I say it was some
awesome, amazing, tremendous, astounding performance by Bamboo, the band not
the wood, in the event called Skulfest, a festival of school bands. Okay let me
put it in a timeline:

5:00

Krrrrrrriiing! Krrrrrrrrrriing!

Finally, the bell rang. Jumped
off the seat in world history class. Pick up Pem, just at the back. We both
know we’re eager and excited. Our silent glances tell we are. We didn’t tell
anyone that we’re gonna watch, yet.

5:15

At Pem’s boardinghouse…

5:30

Bought a couple of double burger
cheese & fries combo for take-out. Got out for a walk to the gym and—dang.
It’s close. They say it’ll open at

6:30

.
Back to Jollibee and ate.

6:20

Saw a few other close girlfriends
in the fastfood and they came to join us for a walk to the gym.

6:30

Teet… teet… teet…

We got our tickets laser scanned
and looked for a seat on the court. Ooooooh. Dark. We like it. Screw the party
music please. Heller, this is a rock show.

7:10

First band performer, Gasolina.
Oh look at the lead vocalist, Vincent, always have been stylish. Mr. Chuck
played as the bassist. (I can smell an intrigue.)

 Click! Gotcha… Oh, booger… blurry.

7:35

Lil Ryan and Boobie of KB on
stage giving out albums asking very simple questions.
Skulfest03_1

7:42

The second performer…

Texting while singing or just
showing off that 3G?
Skulfest04_1

8:01

The third performer…

Their last song was Aeroplane by
the Red Hot Chili Peppers so it was kinda groovy.
Skulfest02_1

8:20

The fourth with Tabularaza’s
Iking who looks like anime in his blonde short mane… Everything is new in the
songs performed and they’re in their new album.
Skulfest05_1

8:40

There goes another familiar face
on stage. Phillip, my ex—crush, sang another one of his new arias also found in
the new Nuncyspungen album.
Skulfest06

9:00

Grrrr… we hate the wait.

9:16

Lights on and—ADMU jocks are
walking on the court. And I saw him, him that was one of the Cosmopolitan’s 69
Centerfold men, Douglas “Doug” Kramer, Cheska Garcia’s bf (side viewing in the background).

 Click… click… click… can’t stop
the trigger… click… click…

Thank the Lord. What an intermission!
Admu

It’s raining men! Hallelujah it’s
raining dogs… I mean men.

(By the way, I like men who are
cute and know how to accessorize. ^__~)

9:30

Filipino time. Lights went off
and many rushed in front near the stage including us, of course. And there goes
Bamboo with his tarsier eyes and Ira with his long wavy hair… And we screamed…

Bamboo04

9:54

I bumped someone at the back…
Oooops… sorry, just jamming with my friend here… turned and—it was Mr. Chuck. I
smiled and he smiled back. Where was I? Oh yeah… Headbang then the rock sign (\m/).
Bamboo02

10:20

Still trigger happy, I mean,
shutter happy. I’m so hooked up at Ira. He smiles when the lights are out but
frowns and hides with his hair when they’re on. Damn. He’s just too lucky to be
one of the most gorgeous and talented men on my list.
Ira01

11:05

Is this the last song? Wait… We
want more! More! More! More!
Bamboo03

As far as I can remember, they
performed hits (in no particular order) like Ulan, Mr. Clay, Noypi, Masaya,
Hallelujah, Hinahanap Kita, Himala, Kung Ayaw Mo Huwag Mo, Kisapmata and other
two that I can’t recall. So they didn’t just perform three songs as rumors said
but give or take a dozen!
Ira03

The three guys in front of us
have probably turned deaf. I wonder where they are now maybe in an EENT clinic.
Oh my. We’ve lost our voices too.

11:40

Home.

Hugged my cat, I know he misses
me too. Mobile phone’s inbox is full so I texted apologies to the awaiting
replies and headed for a hot shower.

12: 18

Zzzzz…

I also updated my blog @

To some, it wouldn’t be interesting even I wouldn’t
bother looking it myself
